One Piece Used Two Ways...

I rather love this piece from the French Market. It has the softest touch of pink. It doesn't scream girlie though. I could see it almost any room...

Wouldn't it be lovely used in a somewhat neutral living space? A sofa to sink into, a few throw pillows, an occasional chair or two would bring the cozy factor in with style. A stunning piece of art flanked by a couple sconces would make quite the statement. Of course a coffee table would be needed for drinks and popcorn, because I could see the above piece housing a small TV.

Ah, but don't get me wrong. It would make for a lovely piece in a girls bedroom too. I would use it to house toys and clothing. Probably all the pretty little dressed I would want to show off. A bed fit for a princess would anchor the room. Rikshaw bedding would bring in a touch of boho that I adore so much. A side table that I am sure would be used for tea parties also. A fun lamp and rug would keep it fresh and young. Of course, quite a few hampers would be used for toys and such, in my opinion you can never have too many.

Wow! I think I am going to have to choose the little girls room. Soft and airy, so pretty . I have never seen that rug before , I like that it transition to teenager and beyond.

I'm loving the combination of seafoam and soft pink. So delicate without screaming "little girl"--any little lady would be lucky to call such a room her own!

Such fun to visit these rooms with great imagination. I especially like the little girls room idea...as the piece could "grow with her" even to her first apartment.

Hello! Yes the cabinet is adorable in it's slightly battered and askew beauty. I agree, it could work in most kinds of rooms and would add such a nice quirky edge if mixed in well.

The cabinet is gorgeous! I could see it anywhere. But I think you actually crawled into my brain to pick out all those living room pieces - they're exactly what I've been thinking about lately! :)
