The Beauty of a Screen

I love the idea of using a screen as a piece of wall art. The varying shades of red in this piece it quite beautiful. I am not a person that gravitates towards red normally, but this one is rather lovely. Wouldn't it add quite the punch to an all neutral space?

I think Sally Wheats home could be used in every post I do. I adore her style. She broke down a rather large screen to make it fit here. Simply beautiful.

Agreed I also love screens and like them mounted on a wall as art too. Love tapestries for the same reason...beautiful images, especially the second one!

I love screens as well - that Sally Wheat room is fabulous - love the sconces as well. I had one in the library at my old house and it really made the room!

LOVE screens (and everything about Sally Wheat's house). Screens, however, are extremely difficult to find and when you do they are often out of the price range that I want to pay. Thanks for sharing the photos - they are great!!
